A cohabitation agreement provides future security. Before moving in together and cohabiting, a cohabitation agreement regulates how assets are divided if you once move apart.
Becoming a cohabitant or moving apart includes the home and your household goods and thus your finances. It may therefore be good to write a joint cohabitation agreement before you move in together to avoid an unnecessary dispute in the event of separation.
